Marillac constantly strives for opportunities to collaborate and partner with other AHB’s and Developers to deliver housing for disabled people. The benefits to all parties, not least the financial ones can be enormous. Because clustering of dwellings which house disabled people must be avoided, collaboration with other AHB’s and Developers on specific mixed tenure projects makes real and practical sense. Marillac, as a specialist AHB working with disabled adults has the particular expertise and knowledge around tenancy management, property requirements and also HIQA registration. Marillac is also committed to delivering housing that is lifetime adaptable.

Marillac also strives to maintaining its continued collaborations and partnerships with Local Authorities specifically in relation to implementing the National Housing Strategy for Disabled People 2022 – 2027. To that end Marillac participates in all Local Authority Housing Disability Steering Groups in the administrative areas where Marillac is working towards delivering new housing. In particular Marillac works closely with Fingal CoCo, Limerick CCC, Offaly CoCo, Tipperary CoCo and Dublin City Council.
